Dr. Anderson’s passion for family medicine was inspired by the doctors who cared for him as he grew up. They took an interest in him, his school and sports, and his family. This shaped his belief in building genuine relationships with his patients and the community. From Holdrege, Nebraska, Dr. Anderson earned his medical degree from Kansas City University. He's looking forward to meeting his patients here in Lincoln and helping them with their medical concerns.
Dr. Anderson enjoys reading, playing tennis, working on woodworking projects, watching movies, and spending time with family, friends, and his Goldendoodle, Sawyer.
Dr. Braun’s passion for medicine started early. From studying how the body works in middle school to caring for patients as a CNA in high school, she quickly discovered how rewarding it is to help others and be part of their healthcare journey. Growing up in rural Boone, Iowa, family medicine allows her to build lasting relationships with patients through every stage of life. As a doctor on the Blue Medical Team, she's looking forward to meeting new patients at the clinic and providing the care they need.
Dr. Braun enjoys running, gardening, and traveling. She’s also planning her upcoming wedding in January 2027.
For Dr. Elias, medicine is rooted in compassion and service. Growing up in northern Iraq and witnessing the challenges families faced in accessing healthcare inspired her commitment to caring for underserved and vulnerable communities. After moving to the U.S., Nebraska became her home, and she’s grateful for the opportunity to serve both the Yazidi community and the broader Nebraska community through compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Elias enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, learning about different cultures, and visiting historical sites.
Dr. Erickson has dreamed of becoming a physician since childhood. Today, she’s pursuing her passion for serving rural communities and expanding access to comprehensive care for patients of all ages. She is looking forward to learning more and caring for her new patients in Lincoln. A Nebraska native, Dr. Erickson earned her degree from Chadron State College and her medical degree from UNMC.
Dr. Erickson enjoys time with family and friends, cooking, baking, thrifting, decorating, fashion, and quilting.
Inspired by watching his father manage Type 1 diabetes, Dr. Hiscock decided that becoming a Family Medicine doctor would allow him to care for patients of all ages and build lasting relationships throughout every stage of life. He is looking forward to meeting his new patients in the months ahead.
From Bennington, Nebraska, Dr. Hiscock earned his medical degree in Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University. He enjoys spending time with his partner, Grace, their cats, Milo and Ally, cooking, playing board and video games, and cheering on the Huskers.
Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Zach Keegan was inspired to pursue medicine after witnessing the compassionate care a physician provided to his stepmother and family near the end of her life. He earned his degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln before receiving his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tennessee. Dr. Keegan chose family medicine for the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and families to be there for them with support through every stage of life.
Dr. Keegan enjoys spending time with his wife and their son, and their pets, watching Husker sports, cooking, and tackling the daily Wordle.
Dr. Klayton Nordeen initially considered a career in physical therapy before discovering his interest and desire to become a doctor. From Alliance, Nebraska, he earned degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Morningside University before receiving his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University. Dr. Nordeen chose family medicine for the opportunity to use a broad range of skills while caring for patients of all ages and treating a wide variety of conditions.
A former collegiate football player and member of an NAIA National Championship team, he enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, lifting, video games, and following nearly every sport.
Dr. Merveille Tshita’s passion for medicine began in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where she watched her mother care for patients as a midwife. Her father’s experience with pancreatic cancer later deepened her understanding of the important role physicians play in supporting patients and families through difficult times. She earned her degree in Child, Youth & Family Studies from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln before attending Saba University School of Medicine. She chose Lincoln Family Medicine Residency for its broad, hands-on training and the welcoming, team-focused culture she experienced during her interview.
From Lincoln, Dr. Tshita enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and spending time with her husband and two sons. Fluent in French, English, Lingala, and Tshiluba, she values the ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.
